ABOUT HATCHAP

Nick Trianon - Black Levi's - Vertical_edited.jpg

With over a decade of experience in front of and behind the camera for global giants like HBO, MGM, and Paramount, Nick Bohle brings a "broadcast-first" mentality to every HatChap production.

Nick’s approach to filmmaking is uniquely informed by his robust academic background in anthropology and philosophy. This multidisciplinary lens allows him to look beneath the surface of a script or brand, identifying the core human truths that make a story truly resonate.

Combining this intellectual depth with a B.F.A. in Dramatic Arts, professional training in recording arts and nearly two decades of professional industry experience, Nick ensures that every project is a precise harmony of performance, sound, and visual strategy.

As a working professional actor (ACTRA, RJ Talent) and a dedicated advocate for the Western Canadian film industry, Nick has built a reputation for providing his collaborators with unprecedented access to top-tier talent and technical crews. He doesn't just make films; he builds the creative infrastructure required to tell stories that stand the test of time.

Land Acknowledgement

HatChap Productions Inc. would like to acknowledge that, here in Lethbridge, we live, work and play on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksikaitsitapi) which includes the Kainai (Blood), Siksika (Blackfeet), Piikani (Peigan), The Stony Nakoda, and Amskapi Pikuni (North Peigan) peoples of Treaty 7 lands; as well as many other indigenous brothers and sisters which include the Métis. Their beautiful and intricate beliefs, values and spirits have called this land home since time immemorial and we are all blessed to live and learn on these lands alongside these important and incredible cultural backgrounds. We implore you to consider the sacrifice, trauma and patience all indigenous people in these lands have endured and make every effort to reconcile and repair the unimaginable pain that European pioneers, their descendants and ancestors brought upon them.
